Cocoon GetTogether 2003 Ogg audio files prepared by Bertrand Delacretaz (bdelacretaz@apache.org), November 2003. This directory contains the audio tracks of the video recordings done at the GetTogether, encoded in ogg format, except the 20-town-hall.avi presentation which I was not able to open. Low-bandwidth encoding meant for people using modem connections to download. The audio quality is much better on the videos, available in ../video. Here's how I did it (macosx); 1. Open movie in QuickTime Pro 2. File menu, export, "export audio to WAVE" 3. Encode using oggenc (installed via fink "vorbis-tools" package), example: oggenc -q1 -M16 --resample 8000 \ -t "Cocoon GT 2003, Steven Noels, introduction" \ -a "Copyright (C) 2003, Apache Software Foundation" \ 00-introduction.wav Have fun.
