This is not really a bug, rather a suggestion.

My log files are pretty big, and this could be a good idea to create a "LogIgnore" call
in the configuration file, that will accept not to log some special requests.
Typical : LogIgnore: "/images/*"

Hope this will make a better Apache !

You can do this with conditional logging, which was
introduced in Apache 1.3.6.  Please see the mod_log_config
documentation page for details.
