The problems started when configure php for apache i got a module error/warns and found out on the phpnet pages that my compiler/libc is broken. They posted a test like this: test.c #include "resources.h" eof gcc -E test.c > /dev/null and if you get errors at this stage they say your have a broken system. So i upgraded to glibc 2.1.3 (+ made new kernel )and it seems to be ok now..no errors on the test.c so i tryed again php and it works....but now back to apache it gives me BUS ERROR when running configure of apache and at the stage configure.acpi i get after it those bus errors about 3 of them. my question is...WHY... and where/how do i correctly upgrade my slack7.0 from glibc2.1.2 to 2.1.3 + gcc + kernel? or do i have to compile more new libs? im puzzled so plz help me out!
